Yes h) Do you support abstinence-only sexual education programs?
Our great nation has a few big sins-slavery, civil rights violations prior to Dr King's movement and abortion-nearly 50 million since 1973 -approximately one out of five viable births are aborted-no loving god would ever condone this nor does anyone have the right to play god with who does and does not come into this world. Legal abortion victimizes the mother throughout her life also. Think how 50 million more young americans could be serving our aging nation now! We are paying the price now for this loss of life. I believe g and h are local control issues.

Reality is the current governor ... and with a massive deficit looming next year all programs will need to be cut. Emergency services and prisons need to be maintian and run more cost effectively. Our nation is fighting for its finanacial and economic life therefore government workers are going to have to make concessions. Also we spend nearly a billion dollars or more on people her illegally for education ,healthcare, and welfare. Colorado citizens need to come first-we need to cut off these services and enforce the immigration laws.
I beleive in capitalism.... We need less taxes, less government and less regulations. That is why I support TABOR and support amendments 60,61, and 101. If you want limited government-limit their revenues.Colorado's budget went from 6 billion in 1992 when TABOR was past to 19.6 billion in 2010. We can not continue to be over taxed.
A rainy day fund is only going to occur after a economic recovery. Local, state and federal employees are going to have to take wage and benefit cuts just like the private sector does in tough economic times. The recovery will come from the private sector creating jobs not the government. Voters need to know Colorado gets approx 24% of its funding from the federal government and they are on the verge of a financial meltdown with presdent Obama putting it into over drive towards bankruptcy. Colorado needs a fiscal emergency plan when the federal dollars are gone.

c) Do you support limits on the following types of contributions to candidates for state government?

Yes a) Do you support limits on the number of terms for Colorado governors?
Yes b) Do you support limits on the number of terms for Colorado state legislators?
Yes 1) Individual
Yes 2) Political Action Committee
Yes 3) Corporate
Yes 4) Political Party
Yes d) Should candidates for state office be encouraged to meet voluntary spending limits?
Yes e) Do you support requiring full and timely disclosure of campaign finance information?
Disclosure, disclosure, disclosure and that is what 527s need to do on every political ad, TV commercial, and flyer-they need to have an easy website identifier in big print so people can get on the web and find out who is paying for it and how much, so that voter are informed like they are on candidate contributions.
Yes a) Do you support capital punishment for certain crimes?
Yes b) Do you support alternatives to incarceration for certain non-violent offenders, such as mandatory counseling or substance abuse treatment?
Yes c) Should the possession of small amounts of marijuana be decriminalized?
Yes d) Should a minor accused of a violent crime be prosecuted as an adult?
No e) Should a minor who sends sexually-explicit or nude photos by cell phone face criminal charges?
Yes f) Do you support the enforcement of federal immigration laws by state and local police?
As we go through hard time we must put violent and repeat offenders away and not allow them to be put out on the street in the name of saving money-the victims need there justice. Yes this is the land of several chance so long as the crimes are not to severe or they are not a habitual offender.
Yes a) Do you support reducing government regulations on the private sector?
No b) Should liquor stores have exclusive rights to sell full-strength beer?
No c) Do you support increased state funding for job-training programs that re-train displaced workers?
No d) Do you support expanding access to unemployment benefits?
Yes e) Do you support providing financial incentives to the private sector for the purpose of job creation?
Yes f) Do you support increased spending on infrastructure projects for the purpose of job creation?
No g) Do you support providing direct financial assistance to homeowners facing foreclosure?
I support water and transportion projects such as T-rex that were done without raising taxes and they should be bided out to the private sector in order to be built cheaper, on time, and better. It probably will be sometime before any major projects will be able to be funded therefore we need to maintian the current infrastructure.
Yes a) Do you support national education standards?
Yes b) Do you support requiring public schools to administer high school exit exams?
Yes c) Do you support using a merit pay system for teachers?
Yes d) Do you support state funding for charter schools?
Yes e) Do you support the state government providing college students with financial aid?
No f) Should illegal immigrants who graduate from Colorado high schools be eligible for in-state tuition at public universities?
K-12 education funding has nearly double in the past ten years and the majority of that money went right into higher wages and benefits for employees in school district. Not to the benefit of the kids in the class room due to the unions control of annual contract negotiations. Voter need to be able to vote to terminate union contact. School choice is very important. I support charter schools, online schools, private schools, and vouchers.
No a) Do you support state funding for the development of alternative energy?
No b) Do you support state funding for the development of traditional domestic energy sources (e.g. coal, natural gas, oil)?
No c) Do you support providing financial incentives to farms that produce biofuel crops?
No d) Do you support state funding for improvements to Colorado's energy infrastructure?
Yes e) Do you support state funding for open space preservation?
No f) Do you support enacting environmental regulations aimed at reducing the effects of climate change?
The taxpayers should not be subidizing any private business but the government needs to have sensable tax credits, tax exemptions, and common sense regulation to control emissions and create both traditional and alternative energies in order to help these busnesses create energy and jobs. Climate change has not been proven in my opinion but sound environmental principles that are achievable with today's technology need to be achieved in the private sector.
No a) Do you support restrictions on the purchase and possession of guns?
No b) Do you support requiring background checks on gun sales between private citizens at gun shows?
Yes c) Do you support allowing individuals to carry concealed guns?
No d) Do you support requiring a license for gun possession?
Thank god for our second amendment!!. The state's background checks should be eliminated because the federal government already does it. This would save the state money and the checks would still be done by the federal government.
No a) Do you support a universally-accessible, publicly-administered health insurance option?
No b) Do you support expanding access to health care through commercial health insurance reform?
Yes c) Do you support interstate health insurance compacts?
No d) Should individuals be required to purchase health care insurance?
Yes e) Do you support monetary limits on damages that can be collected in malpractice lawsuits?
No f) Do you support legalizing physician-assisted suicide in Colorado?
Yes g) Do you support allowing doctors to prescribe marijuana to their patients for medicinal purposes?
By interstate I take that to be allowing insurance companies to do business in all the state or several states and I support that. Given time I think the private sector and free markets will work out the healthcare problems better then government will. The best way we all can have afforable healthcare is to have low unemployment and a higher educated work force making enough money to afford healthcare premiums.
Yes a) Should marriage only be between one man and one woman?
No b) Should Colorado allow same-sex couples to form civil unions?
No c) Do you support state funding for stem cell research?
No d) Do you support state funding for embryonic stem cell research?
No e) Do you support the state's use of affirmative action?
No f) Do you support the inclusion of sexual orientation in Colorado's anti-discrimination laws?
No g) Do you support the inclusion of gender identity in Colorado's anti-discrimination laws?
Civil unions that would require employers to be force to give benefits to partners would not be right. This opens the door of who can get married- who is next polygamist, 50 year people marrying 10 yr olds where does it stop? I say tolerance yes special rights and indoctrination with taxpayers money no.
1-We need to get our economy back on track using capitalism not the grow it by government approach of the liberal democrats. Lower taxes, less government and less regulations are the way to go. 2-We must prepare a financial emergency plan for the state of Colorado for the up coming federal government bankruptcy. Remember Colorado gets approx 24% of its funding from the federal government not to mention the economic fallout when it happens. This will be due to the federal budget being overwlems by spending, debt, printing money, and entitlement programs. 3-Enforce the immigration laws and close the border.
